About Us
The Champua NAC was first constituted as Notified Area Council vide Notification No. 3022/LSG dt.14.8.1957 as per the provision of Bihar and Orissa Municipality Act 1922. After enforcement of Orissa Municipality Act,1950, it was converted to Notified Area Council with effect from 23.12.2014 vide Notification No.513/LSG dt.16.06.1955 and vide Notification No.27152/HUD dt.23.12.2014 with inclusion of village Champua, Biradhanurjayapur Sasan, Ramala, Sirapur, Panchapokharia, Godhuli, Sankarapur. Later it has been converted to NAC vide Govt. in Housing & Urban Development Department Notification No.27152/HUD dt.23.12.2014.
